ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1981 after working as a State Farm team member and being the second woman hired by State Farm in the Memphis area. Today, our office includes myself and one team member, with plans to grow thoughtfully while preserving the values that have guided this agency for decades. I’m a graduate of the University of Memphis, a proud Tigers fan, and part of one of the only mother-daughter agency teams in Memphis — something that reflects the strong family foundation behind our work.

Giving back has always mattered to me. I serve as the secretary of a civic organization that raises funds to support children with special needs in our community, and compassion is central to how we serve both customers and one another.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Sharon Wilson - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $36,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
